You want to learn a language but you just don't know where to start? Tried a course, tried an app but still don't quite get it! We made a juicy bundle of knowledge to get you started on the right track! Here is what you need to know

Write down all the words
For the love of yourself, write down everything and anything. Listening and repeating is important but you'll do nothing without the writing.
Random tip:
The learning process goes faster when you use as much of your senses as you can (yes that includes smelling, touching, hearing, seeing and even tasting). So please do hold that orange, write that word, speak that sentence...just use your body capabilities and its natural muscle/sense memory
Understand that every language has a system
The sooner you get this the better! Everything in life has a system from the tiniest molecule to the great banking system in this world. So do languages. It's not just random words thrown together like that dinner you just had. So ask your tutor or teacher (or google) what are the most important parts of the language you are learning and where should you start exploring so you can, in time, understand how that glorious, ever changing machine works.
Random tip
Most languages use the verbs "to be" and "to have" as their basic auxiliary verbs for building tenses. Once learned make sure you revisit them every once in a while.
Ex.
I have seen
Ich habe gesehen
Io ho vissto.
